NH DES Exotic Species Program

Department of Environmental Services, State of New Hampshire runs an Exotic Species Program to help protect our resources from damage from exotics.  The primary concern for Pleasant Pond is exotic weeds like Milfoil, which keeps our trained “Weed Watchers” and “Lake Hosts” busy throughout the summer.

NH Safe Boater Education

Anyone operating a motorboat with a 25hp or greater motor on Pleasant Pond is required to have a Safe Boater Education certificate. This can be obtained by taking a class in person, online or via correspondence course and then taking a proctored examination.

NH List of Water Bodies Closed to Skicraft

Department of Safety’s list of water bodies closed to Skicraft. Our Pleasant Pond is on that list and has been since 2000.
